HOW WE WORK
How we work
Four gates. One methodology. Each engagement produces a deliverable you own — whether or not you continue to the next gate.
WHAT THE ENGAGEMENT LOOKS LIKE START TO FINISH
Diagnose
You arrive with a problem that has a name but not a shape. The Diagnose engagement gives it a shape — a written brief that maps the friction, identifies the priority, and recommends the path. One conversation and one document. You leave with something you own regardless of what happens next.
Already have a system that isn't working? We start here too. Whether you built it yourself, inherited it from a previous vendor, or watched it drift from the original vision, Diagnose gives you a clear picture of what's worth keeping and what needs to change.
Architect
The Architect engagement takes the diagnostic and produces the phased plan: deliverables, owners, timelines, success gates. This is the document you use to decide whether to build, when to build, and with whom. It works with us or without us — the plan is yours.
Build
The system is designed and deployed. Scope is defined by the Architect phase — no surprises, no scope creep that wasn't agreed.
Every Build engagement ends with a clean handover. You receive a documentation package, a full operational runbook (including your complete agent registry), and a live training session with your team. A 30-day support window follows, so nothing falls through the cracks during the transition.
From there, the choice is yours. Some teams are ready to run independently. Others move into an Advisory engagement for ongoing support. Either path starts from the same place: a system you fully own and understand.
Advisory
Advisory is structured, ongoing support after your system is live. Engagements include weekly async briefs, architecture decision records, prompt library maintenance, agent performance audits, and quarterly roadmap reviews. Scope and cadence are tailored to your team's needs. You stay in control of the system. We stay available for the decisions that benefit from a second set of eyes.
WHAT YOU OWN AT EACH GATE
| Gate | What you receive | Standalone? |
|---|---|---|
| Apply | Personal response within 2 business days | N/A |
| Diagnose ($2,500) | Written brief: friction map, priority, recommended path | Yes — usable without continuing |
| Architect ($5,500) | Phased plan: deliverables, owners, timelines, success gates | Yes — usable with any firm |
| Build (scoped) | Deployed system + documentation + self-management protocol | Yes — runs without us |
| Advisory ($3,500/month) | Ongoing structured output: analysis, drafts, architecture guidance | Yes — scoped and bounded |
WHY NO FREE DISCOVERY CALL
The Diagnose engagement is the discovery. It produces something you own — a written brief — rather than a conversation that produces nothing for either side.
Discovery calls without a deliverable are a coordination tax on both sides.
